Using the choices you've sent us, we'll purchase the right colour or option based on your baby's gender,
without telling you which one we've chosen.

It's Finally Time

Once your baby arrives, we’ll reconcile your Shopping Fund and refund any unused balance.

Then comes the part we’ve both been waiting for, you finally get to see how all the choices you made came together.

A Few Questions You Might Have

  • There’s no rush. Most families begin after the 20-week scan, once their baby’s gender is safely with Your Secret’s Safe and they’re ready to start shopping.

    You can begin whenever the timing feels right for you.

    You can add to your Shopping Fund whenever you like, so there’s no need to put a large amount in upfront.

  • Absolutely. You can add to your Shopping Fund as often as you like throughout your pregnancy.

  • Absolutely. You can choose pieces from as many different stores as you like.

    Just send us the links and we’ll take care of the purchasing.

  • We’ll aim to purchase your requested items as quickly as possible — often within a few hours during business hours, and always within one business day.

    We can’t guarantee an item will still be in stock or on sale when we purchase it, but we’ll do our best to secure it at the price you found.

  • We’ll usually purchase your items within a few hours during business hours, and always within one business day.

    If something is particularly time-sensitive, such as a sale or low-stock item, let us know when you send it through.

  • Absolutely. If you find something from an overseas retailer, we’re happy to purchase it on your behalf.

    Any shipping, taxes, duties or import charges will be deducted from your Shopping Fund along with the cost of the item.

  • Yes, in many cases we can. If you find something second-hand that you’d like to buy, send us the details and we’ll see if we can arrange the purchase.

    If there’s any reason we can’t, we’ll let you know.

  • Occasionally an item may sell out before we’re able to purchase it. If that happens, we’ll let you know as soon as possible so you can choose another option.

  • Any money left in your Shopping Fund is yours. Once your baby has arrived, we’ll reconcile your fund and refund any remaining balance to you.

    We wait until after the birth so your remaining balance can’t accidentally give away your baby’s gender.

  • We’ll keep you updated on how much you have left to spend, without showing you individual purchase amounts or anything else that could give your baby’s gender away.

    You’ll know where your Shopping Fund stands, just not the details behind it.

  • That’s completely fine. Until we’ve purchased the item, you can change your mind, swap it for something else or send us a new choice.

    Once an item has been purchased, returns or exchanges will depend on the retailer’s policy.

  • Absolutely. Friends and family can also send us items they’d like to buy for your baby, and we can make the gender-specific selection without revealing the secret.

    Just ask them to get in touch with us before they purchase anything.
