You choose what you love. We use the one piece of information you don’t have to make the gender-specific selections, purchases and arrangements for you.

You stay in control of the choices — we simply know the secret.

With your permission, your baby’s gender is shared directly and privately with Your Secret’s Safe.

This may be through a sealed envelope from your ultrasound provider, or by arranging for the information to be sent directly to us.

You don’t see the result, only we do.

No. We’re careful about what information you see, from the way we communicate with you to how gender-specific purchases are handled.

Anything that could give the secret away, including product details, purchase amounts or packaging, is kept out of sight until after your baby arrives.

A Shopping Fund is money you place with YSS for us to use when purchasing gender-specific items on your behalf.

You decide how much you’d like to start with and can add more whenever you need to. We’ll keep you updated on how much you have available to spend without showing you any details that could give your baby’s gender away.

Any money left in your Shopping Fund is refunded after your baby arrives.

Anything that could reveal your baby’s gender stays with Your Secret’s Safe until after your baby arrives.

Once we know baby is here, we’ll arrange to get your purchases to you so you can finally see everything you chose.

The Collection is our range of ready-to-order pieces and sets for baby, Mum or gifting.

Shop From Home lets you choose items from the stores and brands you love online, while YSS manages the gender-specific purchases for you.

The Shopping Experience takes that same idea out shopping, you choose the stores, browse and shop in person, while we’re there to handle anything you don’t want to know.

They’re simply different ways to use YSS. Choose the one that suits you.

Absolutely. Friends and family can choose something from The Collection, purchase a gift voucher, or use YSS to make a gender-specific purchase without revealing the secret.

If they’re not sure which option will work best, they can simply get in touch and we’ll help them from there.

Your digital gift voucher is delivered by email with a unique code and can be used towards The Collection, Shop From Home or a Shopping Experience.

The recipient can choose how they’d like to use it when they’re ready.

That’s completely fine. It’s your surprise and you can change your mind at any time.

Just let us know and we’ll arrange to share the information with you and adjust anything we’re holding or managing for you.

At this stage, Your Secret’s Safe is available within New Zealand only.

As YSS grows, we may look at offering the service further afield, but for now, we’re keeping things close to home.
